With candidates, we first listen to your career goals. What are your expectations? Why are you looking for a change? What other factors are at play (relocation, office politics overload, etc.). Upon understanding the whole picture, we then make the determination if we can assist you or not. If so, we'll begin the candidate submittal procedure - if not, we'll recommend other job search venues.
This has been a proven, successful method for a number of reasons. As you're probably aware, many recruiters will submit resumes that have even the barest hint of required skills in hopes of making a match.
We choose to operate proactively instead. A good match between a candidate and client will result in a win-win scenario for all involved. Thus, we pride ourselves on determining exactly what motivates a person to search for a new position.
